Privacy Policy
Trigram is a marketplace for advertising in Telegram channels. This policy explains what data we process when you use trigram.site, the Trigram Mini App and bots in Telegram and the Trigram Lens browser extension — and what you can do about it.
What this policy covers
It applies to the public website trigram.site, the Trigram Mini App and Telegram bots (the main bot and the support bot), the public API and the Trigram Lens extension for Chrome. Below, “Trigram”, “we” means the operator of these services.
Data we collect
- Telegram account. When you open the Mini App or start the bot, Telegram passes your numeric user ID, username, first name and interface language. We do not receive your phone number or contacts.
- Channels. When you add a channel, we store its public profile (title, @username, description, subscriber count) and its recent public posts so the AI can assign topics and check the content against the advertising rules. Post text is deleted after 30 days; the derived topics and verdicts stay.
- Deals and payments. Bookings, the ad texts and media you upload, deal history and messages between the parties, the amounts you pay and earn. Payments are made in USDT on the TON blockchain, where transactions are public by design. If you connect a wallet for payouts, we store its address once you confirm ownership.
- Support. Messages you send to the support bot or to the support chat in the app, together with your username and first name.
- Referrals. If you came through an invitation link, we record who invited you so referral rewards can be paid.
- Technical data. IP address (kept only as a hash, for rate limiting and abuse protection), request logs, browser type, and the time zone and theme you choose in the app.
Trigram Lens extension
The extension shows statistics of public Telegram channels inside Telegram Web and on t.me. It sends to trigram.site only the identifier or @username of the channel you are looking at — it does not read your messages, contacts, account data or other browsing. Statistics are computed on our servers from the channel’s public page t.me/s/…, not from your browser. The extension loads no remote code: the server only sends it data and styles.
Public channel analytics
The analytics pages and the public API describe public Telegram channels: subscriber count, average views, reactions, engagement rate and posting frequency, read from the channel’s public web preview about once a day. We keep up to 400 days of history and delete channels nobody has looked up for 180 days. If you run a channel and do not want it listed, write to support.
Why we use the data
- to run the marketplace: show channels, book posts, publish them through the bot, hold and release payments, pay out earnings;
- to keep the service safe: check channels and ads against the rules, prevent fraud and abuse, limit automated requests;
- to support you and improve the product: answer requests, fix errors, measure how pages are used;
- to meet legal obligations, including accounting for payments.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. It is processed by providers acting on our behalf: Google Cloud (hosting and database), Google Vertex AI (analysis of channel content and translation of support messages — the models receive posts and messages, not your account data) and Google Analytics on the public website (visit statistics, if your browser allows cookies). Telegram receives what is needed to deliver bot messages and publish posts; TON blockchain transactions are public. Within a deal, the channel owner sees the advertiser’s username and the ad, and the advertiser sees the owner’s username. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- account data — while you use Trigram and until you ask us to delete it;
- deals, ledger and payment records — as long as accounting and dispute resolution require;
- channel post text for AI analysis — 30 days; ad texts and media — for the lifetime of the deal and the dispute window;
- support messages — while the ticket exists;
- public channel analytics — up to 400 days of history, removed after 180 days without interest;
- technical logs — up to 30 days.
Cookies and local storage
The Mini App keeps your session token, language, time zone and theme in the browser’s local storage; inside Telegram the session comes from Telegram itself. The public website uses Google Analytics cookies to count visits; the site works without them.
Your rights
You can see and change your data in the Mini App (profile, channels, wallet). To get a copy of your data or delete your account, write to the support bot: we delete personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for accounting and transactions on the TON blockchain, which cannot be erased. You can stop at any time by removing the bot from your channel and uninstalling the extension.
Children
Trigram is for adults. We do not knowingly process data of persons under 18; if you believe a minor has registered, contact support.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top and, for material changes, notify you in the bot or the app.
